Chardonnay from kit
This was my first try at making wine at home, a Chardonnay from a kit. I used a Brew King Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay kit. It made 30 bottles of wine that came out pretty well. It was a great way to learn the basics of fermentation and how wine is made. Click here for some pictures.
2003 Cabernet Franc
My current project is a Cabernet Franc, made from fresh grapes grown here in Virginia. I bought the grapes from Willowcroft Farm Winery, and now have the wine aging in carboys under oak. Here are some pictures of the process so far.
